To enable Trace on Digitizer

1. On the Tools menu, select Digitizer. A sub-menu displays.

2. From the sub-menu, select Trace on Digitizer. The cursor displays as crosshairs and a puck icon.

• Use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+G to toggle Trace on Digitizer on and off.

The puck and pen devices are configured through the digitizer software via the Windows Control Panel. Depending on the digitizer software, you may get some unexpected results when mapping the buttons on the puck or pen. When you select a new Designer drawing tool, the trace transform is aborted. To continue using trace transform, you must enable it again.
